I wouldn't be without Do Terra peppermint oil or lavender oil in my remedy kit as i am a frequent migraine sufferer. These two are essential. I combine the lavender oil with a little olive oil and massage it gently into the back of my neck and shoulders and even into my scalp. The peppermint oil I drop onto a handkerchief and keep in my pocket and inhale periodically to open the airways. Very calming and cleansing!
Another use for lavender oil is to freshen a musty spare room for guests. Use in a vaporiser or room spray or for a more subtle effect , blend your own pot pourri. Rose, geranium and lavender are a lovely combination for pot pourri.

ReplyDeleteMosquitos are a problem at this time of year. Use melaleucaor or eucalyptus to keep keep them at bay.
